Hello, just started my first job in trucking pulling reefer trailer.
Quick question, why is there such a price difference between half page vs full page logs. Both record 31 days and perform the same task? Are people really paying 2x - 3x the price for convenience?
Full size vs half page driver logs?

Sure they're the same otherwise, and not carbonless vs carbon type?
(Company provided all the paper logs for me, so not sure of pricing). -
More paper more money I suppose. If your company doesn't provide logs ask them why they have to be so cheap, lol.
GITRDUN45 Thanks this. -
It could be that the full page logs have the vehicle inspection report on them and the half page logs don't.

Also depends on the individual driver: I myself prefer the full page logs (BUT NOT THE ONES FROM THE TRUCK STOP!) these you can order customized and ready made direct from JJ Keller. I like to have all of my driving info, 8day 7day, on duty totals etc as well as the truck pre inspection and maintenance list all on one page.
Plus do not look at the price in this case as it is a taxable reimbursement (keep your receipts) Trucker! -
Half page used to have them on the back, worked for the carbon sheet type, but not so good for the carbonless ones.
We use an inspection book, pre-printed with company info and turn in the original on return to the shop.We haven't had carbons for quite awhile, and have been using the booklets for more than 6 years -
