All work for compensation must be logged and counts against the hours allowed for the truck driving job. Keep it legal in case of a serious accident. The plaintiff's attorney will reconstruct your week.

all hours worked at your normal job must be logged in as on duty /not driving , and are accountable on your 8 /70 or 7/60 log and your log has to match your time card exactly ( starting and stopping time ) eventually you will run out of hours in a couple of weeks ( I used to have a part timer who did this ) and you must keep the entrys availableand current ( the 30 day log ) incasre you get pulled over with the current ammount , otherwise you can he held till the officer figures out if your in violation or not . being you said you work 60 hour work weeks , you basically will only be able to be on duty 20 hrs before you run out of time . and can only drive 2 hours after getting off work on friday before your out of time if at all .
