Ran NY to Ft. Worth. Arkansas was total mess. 30-50+ mile back ups on I-40 both directions due to ice & accidents. Got off & ran 70 instead. 3-4" solid ice and holes & ruts, but running 30mph sure better than standstill.
After clearing AR ice/traffic, had to run fast for a FedEx p/u in Ft. Worth with no time to spare. Apparently we were only one in area that could possibly make it in time. Had us drop current load in Ft. Worth drop yard to make it. Traffic/weather must have messed up most everyone else. Saw a lot of Prime trucks in that line of mess as we rolled along side on 70.
Now running Ft. Worth to Denver. After drop, looks like WI bound.

Man of few words. And even less details..........

May possibly post a collective thought on whole ordeal before ending this, or maybe not........ Will be one of last posts here, nonetheless. Any questions, ask them now.......

Just wanted to let folks see that some DO actually make it through, and are happy with decisions. Also, know of a few out here that DID make it, but no longer post due to their own reasons or circumstance.

    Peace
    ;)

    Not I, though I wouldn't mind it.

I'm going to run team for a few months.

Thanks n3ss. Hope things are still going well with you.

I don't think I could take any more team driving... although I certainly wouldn't mind the money. my (lease) trainer has had a few weeks where he grossed over 10k, not too shabby.

anyway, good luck.. and have fun? getting a good nights sleep in a moving truck can be hell. You're a better man than i am, thats for sure.

Gross revenue is a nice number... what counts is what you sneak under the bottom line. 10k gross isn't worth a darn if your costs are 10.1k...

Congrats on the upgrade. I hope to be rolling out of here soon with an instructor. I've appreciated the posts, they have me an idea of what to look forward to before I started PSD this week.
