Oh! That's bad... loosing your ID, license, fuel card, plastic, SS card on the road is an unmitigated disaster!

...chaining your wallet to your pants ain't exactly a bad idea. Helps to keep you from leaving it somewhere in the dark while yer half asleep in the middle of nowhere!

    Ahwe man,

JimmyBones was referring to previous mention here of me leaving my operator's license behind in class. What a screw up! But, had no idea at time. So posted for others. Glad it was only operator's & I didn't throw it away.

That CDL is guarded better than Ft. Knox, here. Ain't nothin' happening to that. Gonna have to kill me before you get that. True word up, cuz! :biggrin_25525:

Now running in my third truck, now as equal co-driver. Co driver great guy about 2mos. ahead of me with similar outlook & work ethic. Met him when we switched out trainers & ran two truck mini convoy from FL to CA.Think we'll make a good team.

Rolling a Freightliner Century this time. Not much learning curve at all this time, but for controls being located completely different. All in all, not bad at all.

Ran from SpringMo to OKC to finish up load he started. Doubled back to Joplin for new load going to Los Angeles, and about 400mi. out now. So far, so good.

Going to team for about 2/3mos, then will take over truck, while he takes over another one.

    Peace All ;)

    Ha ha.....

Kinda like the thing! Not so much all controls on dash, but adjusting quickly. Jake switch on dash really sucks, but at least you can SEE IT. I REALLY hated the (hidden) placement of jake light on Cascadia. Whoever thought that up ought to be shot! Favorite by far was the Volvo, though. That was sweet.

Hell....... I like all of them! Wish I could make my own hybrid out of what I liked most about each. ;)
