Calico Rock;i thought i live in the outback!!! u are realy in the woods where u live DM_06..the runs we get are usualy around 1000 miles, sometimes more sometimes less..sometimes the drivers on the forum seem kinda unhappy but that only happens when we have to set and arnt making any money..for the most part we run good and the drivers are happy.we have our issues here just like every other company but i believe it will all get worked out and it will be a great company..just need patients at times.i understand that the heads are trying to work out a plan for most of us to run sort of a dedicated route, depending on where u live...just hear say

By the time I get to Omaha on Sunday, I'll be at 3200 miles for the week. Left the house this past Sunday from thanksgiving. I delivered at nocs today. I was there quite I while, but that's trucking. There were a few more of our trucks there too. Nice to see that message from Jon today about forming a driver committee to help fix issues. I think that's great!

Changed their mind about sending me too Grand Island.
They told me to go to Dakota City.

They're trying to force me to take a load that PU Sun going to Sterling Il on the 4th at 3am.
Oh and Preplan says 800 miles, didn't realize it at first. But that's way off only like 420 miles.

Was doing a pretty good till this.....They sent a message wouodn't you rather do this load then sit.
    Nope think Ill just sit.
not the first time they gave me a junk load on weekends right before they left and said well there isnt anything I can do about it now.

Well if the preplan says 800 miles then they are paying you for 800 miles. If you do it in 420 then you made 380 miles free.

It is 800 miles. If you are talking about Rapid City SD, To Dakota city, To Sterling. Seems like a pretty good load to me.

Had a few bumps with the loads this weekend. But after sending a few messages and making a few calls it was all sorted out. I'm now preplanned up until the 6th and then I'll be in a decent area for a load there as well. Some days are pretty stressful here but if you take the time to look at the problem from not only your angle but also the planners/dispatchers angle it makes things easier to deal with and fix in my opinion.

The key to delivering at NOCS is to get there at 0530. Its best to get to the truck stop the day before next door and go get in line to check in no later than 0530. They start lining up at that time. They check in at 0600 and are on a first come first serve basis. Once I learned this, I have been out of NOCS no later than 1000. Even though dispatch had 1100 and 1200 as listed appointments. If you can be within the first 8 drivers, you usually get a door right away.
