I don't know what happened with that last post. It was supposed to be a reply to the comment about Barney and it was supposed to say : "Wow, you must really have an ax to grind with FRE."

 

Replace "moron" with "disgruntled former driver" and you have the correct description.

 

What did you do to them?

 

Me? Nothing. I was never a driver for FRE. Had no business relationship at all with them. I'm just someone who had an inside view of the company for the last 5 years.

 

You didn't have to insult me just because I think your buddy Barney sold you all down the river. I am a former FRE driver and I still have friends in the company and I have heard how the non drivers were treated too. Scott is probably the only one who came out of this deal smelling like a rose. I am reasonably sure he is back to managing furniture stores and his stress level is back down to a manageable level.

 

bumper is far from being a moron and has never been a disgruntled driver.he is just stating facts.u can call it what ever u want to but it is what it is.some people just bury their heads in the sand thinking the world is a better place than it really is.the managers at fre were totally out of their element and blew a good thing and are rewarded for their failure and dumped good drivers like they were the reason for the loss.it will one day catch up to them.as far as celadon...come on,nice doesn't compute into money in ur pocket and we all have families and they are takeing money from yours.they are in a law suit that says they took money from their o/o...it is what it is.i know I wouldn't let barney have a decision on where I worked next.

 

Bumper don't worry about what they say. Us that know you knows the truth. They always get catty when the finally feel the raw end.

 

I do have a question for the guys who made it to the end. Who did they tell you to list for contact for future employment verifications?

If we get 6 cents per diem but only get 5 1/2 on check because they take 1 1/2 cents to pay their taxes for paying you per diem what???? Is this even legal??
