Celadon already had a Reefer Division.
I suspect they mainly just wanted some of the Accounts.
The trucks were nice, I guess they're just gonna sell them off.
Most of the trailers weren't any good, besides the new ones.

I hate giving up my red truck!!
-
Celedon has a tiny reefer division... I expect they wanted the accounts, as well as the drivers...
-
I never really cared for red, but I am in a red Cascadia... The truck I sold was a rose colored Classic with a big Cat and a 13 speed...
-
Wow!! Must of been a nice truck! Well how does a brown truck sound to you?? Yuck

If you wanted to work for a big company you would have been at one already.
I would have been looking to quit if I were still at FROW.Last edited: Sep 5, 2014

After catching up on the posts in here. I can say that i worked for Celadon from 2010 to 2012 and i left for a reason. Not really looking forward to going back again and if i do it would be Plan Z.
kinda not looking forward to Friday here delivering in Harrisionville MO in the afternoon and usually by now i would have a ppln but nothing right now.
Hopefully i hear something on Friday from another company. -
What is "plan z"??? The Bakken requires hazmat cdl, tanker, osha safety class, and a specific hazardous gas training... Most companies will even take fellons except for sex offenders... They have special man camps that consist of mini shacks... Actually they are quite nice, but designed for one, or two persons... They also feed three squares daily... Work is three weeks on, one week off... $120k is not unheard of, hauling frack water... The Bakken is in the Williston, North Dakota region... I actually have doubles and triples as well, lots of oversize, and off road experience... I was making occasional appearances up there when I was with Landstar hauling drilling equipment to the rig sites... I would haul hay back to Kansas...
