I only have sympathy so far in the fact that he has said nothing any different then what has been sung in stupid RAP music or a likeness of it been said by other RADIO talk show hosts or people in general.

I have to say that the punishment was not proportionate to the crime in this case.

I still don't see the difference of JJ talking about "Hymietown" or the "Tawanda Brawley" case with Rev Sharpton. But THEY still are allowed to get on their soapbox. I did hear Sharpton on O'Reilly last night and he claims that he will go after rappers who use similar terminologies. If so... then that's something good coming out of this. Tick Tock.

You are right, they are not victims. But yet I heard one of them say they were scared for life. HOW IN THE HECK can you be scared for life over what some body you don't even know says??????????????????????????????
Very close family and/or friends yes, but not some radio goober that you don't know. I think she was making this claim so that she'll have some grounds for a multi million dollar lawsuit over alleged pain and suffering. I'm sure John Edwards would be glad to take the case.

On April 11, NBC News announced that it was dropping MSNBC's simulcast of Imus in the Morning in the wake of the controversy that erupted over host Don Imus' reference to the Rutgers University women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos." The following day, CBS president and CEO Leslie Moonves announced that CBS -- which owns both the radio station that broadcast Imus' program and Westwood One, which syndicated the program -- has fired Imus and would cease broadcasting his radio show. But as Media Matters for America has extensively documented, bigotry and hate speech targeting, among other characteristics, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and ethnicity continue to permeate the airwaves through personalities such as Glenn Beck, Neal Boortz, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Michael Savage, Michael Smerconish, and John Gibson.
