Good old "grunt & push". I worked there for about a year before I got out. Too many lonely nights in Laredo TX. Usually 2-3 days waiting down there for a load with no compensation or very little layover pay. I hear they've gone to using electronic logs since I've left. I was treated well by my dispatcher but the company overall seemed to try and get out of paying me for anything they could. I got tired of it and left.

In general, I would not recommend working for G&P.

I see you chose another company. Smart move

 

I think that G&P is owned by the same guy that ons Southeastern Freight. Heard good and bad about them dont know what to tell you.What are you looking for. 7 Hills out of cartersville is hiring, running texas and back. home on the weekends. I heard you would make a round a 1000.00 a week .
