GA Drivers Make Sure You Self Certify!!

This is worthy of posting since there are so many and I'm sure there are a few other states where drivers are unaware of the new medical certificate procedures. If you have questions ASK!!

Medical forms needed from Ga. commercial driversJune 19, 2014 04:49 EDT
ATLANTA (AP) -- The Georgia Department of Driver Services says it's reaching out to commercial drivers whose federal medical certifications are past due.
Officials say more than 25,000 Georgia commercial drivers still need to complete their federal medical clearances within 60 days or risk having their commercial drivers' licenses disqualified and canceled.
Department officials say 92 percent of more than 314,300 Georgia commercial drivers have completed the new medical certification process by Jan. 30, 2014.

It's nationwide. And if your not certified and get caught. Plan on taking a break.

You can register online at dds.ga.gov and keep up with your driving status and upload your med certificate all online.
If you leave the state and require to have med certificate then you certifiy as NON EXEMPT INTERSTATE. (NA)
Med Certificate and don't leave the state then YOUR EA. (like local power companys).
