You cant do that. That's illegal. You gain hours on your 70 at midnight, nothing else. If you drove your full 11 hours and shut down at 9, you have to sleep until 7am.....

Phroziac is correct...let me try to explain a bit more:

You have 14 hours to drive a maximum of 11 hours before you must take the 10 hour break. This does not say you have to drive the full 11, but you can if you want...however by running the full 11, you are greatly diminishing the 70 hours allowed in 8 days. If you drive 8.75 each day, every day you will never run out of hours to drive.

Keep in mind, that fueling, load/unload, drop/hook, pre-trip/post-trip all detract from the 70. And you only "gain" hours at midnite, if you have hours dropping off from the 8th day prior to todays date.

    Hey Toney,
Please take this as the true advice it is intended to be.

Please look for another line of work.
You will only go broke driving, you will not last long anyway, and you will get very very broke if DOT looks at your logs.
Please do yourself a favor and find a local driving job if you feel you really need to drive. Logs are not that hard, and you have 0 understanding of them.
