My bf recently started trucking school and since it's a 7am to 5:30 day with an hour for lunch, him and the other student usually get fast food. He recently brought it up to me that in this month of school he knows eating fast food 4 days a week for lunch is bad and he may be gaining weight.
I was wondering what truckers do on the road for lunch (since the job is so sedentary) to maintain your weight.
Is it feasible to make your own lunch or is it just up to you to make smarter choices on the road?
Do most men gain weight just as part of the lifestyle of being a trucker?

Search the threads for cooking on the road. Theres several discussions about eating healthy and cooking OTR. As for gaining weight it's really going to be up to him. Eat fast food and greasy choke-n-puke all the time Or learn to resourseful and cook for himself. Also a regiment of exercise will be entirely up to him. As with anything else its up to him how he lives. here is one thread for you http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr.../82190-appliances-you-have-in-your-truck.html

He might turn out to be the guy that grows a new portable arm rest and doesn't shower till you hose him off in the front yard before he enters the home. :biggrin_2551: LOL :biggrin_25525:
