I Just Saw coming out of New Mexico on I 40 West at Gallup there were A bunch of cameras on A pole across from the east bound scale house. There's no scale going west so what are those for and am I now in the system as far as what time I went through. I'm going through there tomorrow going east so if I happen to get inspected and they see on my log book I came through that area today can they/Will they, pull that Info up from those cameras to compare what time I "Showed" coming through those cameras

I don't think they care if its like the other stations in NM Ive rolled though. I've been waved through almost every time in NM unless they want to see insurance, ifta, registration. They did stop one of our trucks and he got an oos, but he did have a blown out trailer tire and was leaking coolant on their scale. I wouldn't sweat it. Those might be heat sensors too from what Ive been told.

Regardless, what it is, with all of the increased enforcement, higher penalties/fines, more available tracking data at DOT's fingertips, more companies being shutdown, it is easier and LESS stressful to "just run legal".

Years ago, I was just as bad or worse than some/most here, bottom line is, it just isn't worth it anymore, and it hasn't been for some time now.
