I tried to play that game. But it kept crashing on my PC at the start. No idea why. Most of my home time is doing some flying in Microsoft Flight Simulator

There’s so many of them now that there’s something for everybody.

Even the older folks who don’t have a 12-year old’s reflexes anymore can find an adventure they can enjoy.

In the home, retired folks like me, sometimes get bored. Especially when there's nothing on TV.
That was my thing. There's only so much TV one can watch. Movies get boring. TV shows get boring. The news...... Well that's a lot of things. Most of it isn't good.

I know a couple who have something called a Wii. They play all sorts of games on it. Bowling, Golf and some other things. And have a blast doing it.

Red Dead 2 is amazing. I've been playing for about 3 months now, and I'm still finding new stuff in chapter 2.

So shooter-type action adventures are your flavor? If that’s the case give Metal Gear Solid a try.

At this point I mostly stick to the turn-based midieval fantasy ones.

It's not so much the shooting in this game as it is all the other things you can do besides that.

Fishing (15 different types of fish)
Hunting (234 different types of animals)
    Breaking horses,
Robbing a stage coach, a train or even a bank.
You can go from shooting up an enemy camp, to picking herbs for hours.
    Cooking your meals
Mixing the herbs for you or your horse.
    Mixing predator or herbivore bait
Treasure hunting or unique items like dinosaur bones.
Or just hang around in camp listening to the stories and the drama for a day. lol
    Plus a lot more.

I'm not really into those games where you're just constantly shooting people. I've played a couple. But it get's old pretty quick.

When I'm on the truck I play New World (MMORPG) on a ASUS ROG Ally. I actually dislike doing so because these old eyes have a hard time viewing the tiny ### writing displayed on it's 7 inch screen lol. What are y'all using for internet when gaming on the truck? I have a hotspot on my phone which works well enough.

I've played Red Dead Online and it's an amazing looking game/world. Probably once of the best looking games I've seen. I'm not super into having to do co-op missions so just spent most of my time exploring etc...

I hear there's a lot of what they call "griefers" on RDO now. Apparently there are players using mods and cheats. Someone told me it's rare to find anyone doing it though. IDK, after this playthrough, trying for 100%. But, I might give online a shot. But I'm in the epilog and kind of mission "My Boy."
So I'll probably do like I always do, and start a new game.

When I was trucking, I mounted a small TV wall hanger on the cabinet. IIRC,I mounted a lightweight 21" onto that. It would stretch out over the foot of the bed. It was a game changer compared to the TV, DVD combo I had, that fit inside the cabinet TV slot.

Just something to think about, if you haven't already.
