Garmin 760Dezl

From what I can tell, because it is Bluetooth enabled, they have taken advantage of that to "feed" info to the GPS through a bluetooth connected cell phone with an app. They have this already on several of their other devices called "Smartphone Link" and you can get it in the Google Play store (Android devices.) The app is free but some of the feeds are subscription-based fees depending on which things you want. That would open several possibilities: weather, fuel prices, traffic, etc. It will be interesting to see if they do anything specific to their existing link app particular to commercial trucking.

 

I think the 7 inch is being used for the in dash in PACCAR trucks. I'm in a '12 Pete and it has a 7" Garmin in the dash. I will say it's very nice

I'm definitely getting one.

Just got the 560LMT to replace my Rand-McNally TND 710 since they wanted me to pay $89 for map updates on a unit that's just a few months old.

I'll use the 760LMT as my "primary" and keep the 560LMT as my backup.

Rand-McNally would have probably gotten that money had they been smarter and more ethical in how they handle map updates.

But since they weren't, my first Rand-McNally GPS purchase will be my last and I'll be encouraging everyone I can not to buy their products!
