Garmin Dezl 770 new

The cure for that Nebraska problem is to set your Max weight 100 lb.s lower.

 

I hope the POI's that show on the screen will be truck only. Kind of silly to enter a large city and it shows about 200 ATM's that do not have truck parking. Same for Restaurants. On the 760 the only way I have found to get rid of those icons is to not show any POI's.

 

My Garmin has 3D, and it's for trucks, both the 465 I had, and the 760 I've got now

 

My 760 is doing weird stuff. Search for a poi along route and it will show a truck stop 20 miles or so ahead. Click it and select go, add to active and the order. It routes and all of the sudden that poi is now 2000 miles from where I am. The address its taking me to and the address in the info screen is not the same. Happens a lot in WY, ND, SD and MT.

 

Does the new 770 have the options on choosing routes with No Tolls? I've never owned a Garmin truck route GPS and I need the option of setting No Tolls sometimes.

 

Garmin 760 does. I have to imagine that its successor does.

 

I have the Garmin 760...my only complaint is the power cord is really flimsy as far as the plug in goes. With all the vibration a truck goes thru...it constantly tells me "power off in 14 seconds" loosens up all day...so nothing a little duck tape cant fix.
I called garmin...and that was useless.

Just bought the Garmin 770...Love it...Lots of new features ! Here is the link...
