I have a new Garmin DEZL 7 inch. Overall I am really pleased. I am a new driver and get nervous around large cities that I don't know well. Took me around Chicago without missing a beat. Same for Detroit. But I have noticed that it misses some construction sites that are at least 3 months old and warns me of other that are long gone. I did an update before I went out on my run and checked when I got back and there are no new updates. More than once when entering a rest area I got a notice that truck accessibility is unknown. Same for a Flying J. In Canada it showed a 50 mph speed limit for a major highway that never had that low speed limit. It has been 100 k (62.5) for at least 15 years. At night I liked the warnings for steep grades and sharp curves. I always check my routes with paper maps and Streets and Trips and would never blindly follow a GPS but those were blatant errors.

I tend to think all gps will have some in accuratcy. I just orded the 7".
I've read a lot of reviews and still think it probably the best out there.
Though I would also think for the money, it should be better. Hopefully Garmin keeps up to thier reputation with updates.

I have had a dezl for about a year and i really like it. There are some flaws like the op pointed out but I haven't noticed an excessive amount.

Its worth its weight in gold to me for keeping track of my ifta.
