Garmin eld doesn't read odometer or eng hours?

    Hello everyone,

    I'm having trouble with my Garmin ELD in my new Peterbilt 389.

    I have tried two new devices, neither one seems to be able to read the engine hours or odometer from the computer and is giving a red check mark.

    Has anyone else had this problem with a Peterbilt or Garmin ELD?

    Engine is Cummins X15P

    It's Pete they have made a change we use xrs cannot get eng data our shop is still trying to figure it out

    Okay this is progress.
    So they changed format or something?
    This is a huge problem for the ELD obviously

    There is 2 rates of data transfer 250 baud or 500 you need to know which rate the eld uses & to change it you need to move a pin in the plug from 1 position to another. The dealer should be able to provide a diagram
