How do I eliminate a stop or destination in my route if I change my mind, without starting the whole route over?
My unit shows a weight restriction on I80 that doesn't exist and tries to route around it. Can I change this?
Little America truck stop on I80 doesn't show on the unit, WTH?
I updated the unit about 3 weeks ago after I bought it, but so far not too impressed.
thanks for any help.

check your truck profile settings and see what they are set at. i highly doubt you weigh more then 140,000 pounds in wyoming. if that's the little america your talking about.
never had the garmin, but that's what i'd look for. -
When I'm on I 80 in Nebraska, I have to switch to car mode.
Western Sky Thanks this. -
This is why the Garmin I have is in a bag next to my underwear.
Skydivedavec and dieselfuelonly Thank this. -
It's doesn't have many POI's, people will tell you you can get some from some poifactory website; thats Great if you want to stop at Pilot.

To get around the weight restriction it tries to do for I-80 in Nebraska I had to set gross weight to 39.50 tons in the truck profile, and set axle weights to 6.00 tons. To bypass a stop or destination you have set up in the route, tap on the bar at the top of the screen that tells you your next turn/directions and it brings up the list of directions for that stop, scroll/arrow down until you get to the next stop and tap go and it will recalculate to the next stop without having to redo the complete route. There are a lot of truck stops and fuel stops that do not show when you go to points of interest and select trucking and truck stops, sometimes if you hit all categories it will bring up others along with walmarts also that usually have night parking. To find the other fuel stops and truck stops not in the POI/Trucking you need to go to NTTS and can scroll down and select fuel stops and it will bring up most of them, as well as search for other truck related stuff such as scales, repair shops, washes, etc...

Wait till you get on US-35 after running through the WV turnpike and it throws an absolute fit because it thinks there is a bridge with a weight limit, and tries to route you off the 2-lane section on to a 0.75 lane gravel road that runs up the side of the mountain.
Oh, and coming down 23 out of Columbus back to 35 it throws another fit because it believes there is a weight restriction on the southbound side of the road.
Overall its a useless piece of crap and I wish I would have gotten the RM 720 instead. But it is what it is, gotten used to it and still have it for those times when it does work. -
I like my Garmin but whoever is in charge of mapping needs to be fired.......or worse!

I feel your pain.
