I have to defend Mark here. We've had a couple people come onto his support thread to bash the 720. That thread is for drivers who've already made the decision to buy one and now need an answer or some other issue resolved. Not for the drivers who want to clog it with complaints. You want to rant? Great start a thread and rail all you want. I've had Garmin (465T) and now the 720. Some units have glitches/issues (both brands) it happens. I don't see a man/woman from Garmin here answering hundreds of questions/issues/complaints......Do you?
Keep up the good work Mark.
Garmin Vs. Rand Mcnally...If you've heard it a million times, don't look here.

I agree with the above. Don't have experience with other units, but my 720 has been working fine for me. Does it have some idiosyncrasies? Yep, but so does every other piece of electronic gear. Mark has been a great help to me and a lot of others and he knows his stuff. While he will listen and report, he isn't the engineer in charge (at least I don't think he is based on his comments) so only has limited impact. Maybe he can get a couple of the engineer types to go out and experience a bit of time on the road and then go back to their cubicle to work. Just like the argument of Ford, GMC, Chrysler, etc.
SavageSam Thanks this. -
