I set my length back to 65' today. Had alerts for length on CA78 south of Blythe. In all fairness though, the designated truck route ends sjort of Blythe. Alerts went away though. I have never measured my length but figure I am somewhere between 65'-70' long.

My axle weights are at 17k lbs. It sez axle weight not tandem weight. This is probably a stupied question but do you it have set to pounds or tons. Several choices there.

Also, the software version on mine is 2.50 which is the most current according to Garmin. Hey. Those guys have been very patient with me over the phone and have a good dialouge. Don't throw 'em under the bus just yet. The GUI has changed a little from the 560 to the 760 so give them a shot at fixing the bugs. If it's map related which it may well be, may be some time before we see a fix. What I don't know is if the truck specific overlays are Garmin's or someone else's. Bug the hell oughta them- get enough of us doing that they might a few of these things a priority.

More than 3 years on my unit and however many hundreds of thousands of miles. I give them credit for fixing 90% of the crash issues but they've had bad markers all over the place from day one. Those have only increased over time. It really won't take much more to render the unit useless in truck mode.

I have my axle weight set at 8.5T (17k lb), gross weight 40T (80k lb) and have not had any false weight restriction warnings. We run generally east of I-35 so haven't been on that stretch of I-80 to see.

That's what I have mine set at. So far no weight alerts but I haven't been through Nebraska yet. Guess that's the acid test.

My Nuvi 150 had a sudden and severe case of depression today as I was coming out of Seattle headed east on I-90. I happened to notice that is was showing being below sea level, and as I was going away from the ocean, and it was sinking! It got down to around 500 feet below sea level, and then suddenly jumped to around 300 positive, and then slowly crawled up to the actual elevation around 500 feet above sea level. Now I know that the elevation is not intended to be surveying quality accurate, but this was way off!
