New to the forum....
Could anyone tell me what the ballpark gas mileage on a fully loaded 9 car stinger (2014 Pete with Cummins ISX). We are thinking about replacing one of our current Trucks with a 9 car stinger for the extra car capacity (current setup is 2015 Pete 579 with 8 car high mount trailer). However, if we end up spending most of the extra revenue in fuel then there is no point in doing it. We have never owned a stinger before so I am also open to any other advice from all you veteran stinger drivers. For example, one of our drivers swears that he sees more stingers pulled over with tire blowouts compared to high mount setups. Thanks for all your help!

Tire doesn’t know what kind of truck it’s under it only knows if it is properly inflated.

5.3 mpg on a 2016 389 with Cummins loaded 95% of the time. I don't idle at night only when loading. Current odometer shows 422k. My friends has 3 high rail trucks and gets about the same mpg as mine.
