A funny story related. Here in Baltimore a few years back,a couple of hoodrat genius's hatched an idea to hijack a loaded fuel tanker of what hey thought was gasoline, coming out of the Baltimore loading racks. Then sell the tanker load of gas for cash to their buddy Ali Babas gas station in Washington,DC. Went well, till all of a sudden, cars started conking out all around DC with a load of diesel fuel in their gas tanks. And they had all just fueled up at Hodgees pumps. Didn't take long for the cops to piece it all together, esp. when the empty diesel tanker truck was found in the hood near the station.

I don't think the op put a gallon of gas in his diesel. I'm guessing he put close to a hundred gallons in buddy or even maybe 200 gallons. however many tanks he has. Because he stopped for fuel to get the load out. one gallon of gas to 110 gallons of diesel is nothin

Back in the 80's I know they were putting a little gas in trucks up north, to keep it from gelling, it was even recommended for diesel cars. Don't know if the newer vehicles now would run or not.

X1, I told my kids a story last night that I used to haul my freinds all over the place becuase I didn't drink or use drugs, so they would pay my way to concerts it just to get a ride home. Only once I used my car and that was the only time one of them puked in it, she actually puked in a hat of another who was passed out that I grabbed from their head and stuffed in her face but not in the car itself.

Since that time, I had a new rule which worked out well, if they wanted my services as chauffeur, I use one of their cars. That was much better, they would get wasted and puke all over the car and I would drop them off at one house or their own house(s) then park the car and went home in mine. Never had to deal with cleaning it up or anything like that. The other rule is I took their keys if they wanted me to drive so if they wanted to go somewhere else after, they walked. These idiots agreed to it becuase they knew that being caught would have caused more problems plus paying for the cost of the event or paying me for the night worked for them.

The reason I told the story last night is because my daughter who doesn't drink, 'rescued' one of her friends from a frat party and the girl puked in my daughters rental car, she could not get the window down fast enough. So her friend will be paying for the clean up of the car, my daughter won't return it with puke in it and she already told her friend that she is paying for a real cleanup.
