I know, I'm not going to get anything else, but just to punish the owner. He knew that is something wrong with the fuel but kept selling. When I was leaving, there were 2 trucks at the pumps. Probably they didn't get problems because if you have like 100 gallons and put 50 g, the engine will still running. I had 40 gallons and put about 150......

I was thinking that there is an agency for controlling the quality of the fuel. Like if you buy used car with warranty and after the dealer want to charge you for repairs, you can complain at the local DMV.

Okay, so you did ask him. My guess is that you're out of luck regarding the pump. Did it need to be replaced because of the contaminated fuel, or is it that you thought that was the problem and replaced it before finding the real problem? You might be able to get something for the taxi, but it might take some effort on your part and might require a letter from a lawyer. Given the amount, you're probably just as well to chalk it up to experience.

In another thread, you claimed that you thought the retailer cut the diesel with gas on purpose. I highly doubt it, but if you think that's the case then you should contact the state department that oversees that. I am sure they would be interested to hear about it.

What state department oversees this? DMV ?

I forgot to mention that, he actually poured the bad fuel back to the main tanks of the gas station and I have a picture showing this....

Just sent a complain letter to ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE MOTOR FUEL SECTION.
Here is the picture of how the owner drained the polluted fuel back to the main tanks. 2.jpg 3.jpg

Bad deal for sure. Just glad it did not blow your engine. I would let my friends and ever who else I could know about this stop. By him cyphering the fuel out of your truck back into his reservoir just shows me that this owner just don't care. I mean he as to know he is taking a chance opening his company up for a law suit. But for some reason it looks like he just don`t care. Hard to deal with someone like that. Truck on and don`t look back.
