I just recently purchased a 2007 t600 . Gauges transmission oil temp/differentials both oil temp/ and load suspension gauges not working all others are good . If i turn on the ligths they do light up. What could be the problem? Any ideas would be great.

You know what? I have a 13 T700 and the only gauges that work on mine are the tach and speedo. There's no fuses or relays for it, according to KW it's in the Cab Controller.

Your gauges are multiplexed. There are little jumpers that go from gauge to gauge, it's a data link. You could have a bad jumper, or a bad gauge. 1st check that the sensors are hooked up and not corroded, we've had a lot of issues with trans and rear temp sensor wiring. Since you just bought the truck, they may have had an issue one at a time and just never got fixed, now none of them work.

If the plugs and wring to the sensors are good, pull the dash back so you can get to the back of the gauges. Follow the jumpers and bypass the first gauge that isn't working to see if the other start working, if so, you have a bad gauge and everything after it isn't getting a signal through it.

Ideally, you need Paccar ESA to test the gauges, but not everyone has that. With ESA, you can simulate the gauges to verify that the gauge and the wiring from the Module are good, then you'd be looking for a problem with the sensor or wiring to the sensor. Without ESA, you're limited on what you can do, but you can eliminate the basics before you pay a dealer. Basically, if you have a bad jumper, all the gauges will work fine up until the bad jumper, everything after the bad jumper wont work. A single gauge can fail and kill gauges after it also.

    Lox13 Thanks this.

Bad wiring to 1 sensor wont kill other gauges, but if the gauge itself is bad, it can. If you fix that wiring and that gauge starts working, then look closer at the other sensors & wiring. Since you don't know the history, you don't know if they stopped working all at the same time or failed 1 at a time and they just weren't fixed. You may find wiring issues to all the gauges that aren't working. If they all stopped at the same time, I'd say that it was unlikely, but we don't know that. Wiring issues to the trans and rear temp sensors are quite common.

got it working ..apparently it was a loose conection on the gauges thanks for your help! It really made a difference understanding how they work.
