I don't mind if ya gay.
If I'm not in the truck it won't effect me anyway. When I worked for OD we had some gay drivers. Although they we're still in the closet.

Those companies are the exception, and not the rule. They are few and far between. The part you're not understanding, nobody gives a #### what you do in your private life. Key word ='s private life. I don't run around bragging about my girl friend, kids or dogs to everybody I meet. And, I sure as hell don't care about what you do with your life. Keep it to yourself and every thing will be fine. Why is that so hard to understand? Its #### well annoying. Trust me, I knew you were lesbian long before you ever stated so on this forum. I DO NOT CARE what you do with your life. What I do care about is all the whining and bs sense of entitlement the gay community demands these days.

Ok, so who is trying to keep you from being you? Nobody is shooting at you, nobody wants to see you in harms way because of your sexuality. Its almost as if you NEED the attention. Am I wrong?

How about a story where a white boy went to college, got his degree. Did everything he was supposed to do, gave this best board interview ever, and didnt get the job cause he was the wrong skin color. Now what if I told you the two people that were hired, were hired because of their skin color, and race even though they didnt have a college degree, and one didnt even have a #### GED.

Ya know what, sometimes life is a big #### sammich, and sometimes we all have to take a bite. Only thing is, those of us that are white, straight, and (GOD forbid) males don't have an excuse to fall back on. All it does to me is make me work harder!!!

Hedon many of the posts and mine weren't saying don't apply. We were just saying keep your sexuality to yourselves. I don't tell anyone I'm straight and no one asks. I don't care if a person is straight, gay, bi. What many of us are saying is keep it to yourself. The problem for some is if one is showing affection toward their partner of the same sex it could lead to damage to their truck and trailer at best. At worse a trip to the morgue. Most companies do not want to take that kind of risk for their employees or equipment.

Maybe I am naive, but I have never understood why the "gay", "lesbian" community feel that they should have to announce their sexual preference or lifestyle. And I do feel that many do, (not all mind you) for the reason to get some additional "notice" or special favors if they are "out" about their preference.

I don't introduce myself as; Hi, my name is OTW, I am heterosexual, how are you by the way? If I appreciate a female "tookus" as it wiggles by, I, all by myself, APPRECIATE it, but I don't ogle or holler out to others "man what a behind on that caboose"...my sexual preference is just that...MINE...and I keep it between myself, my wife, and God...don't need to announce or make sure that everyone knows my standing in the bedroom and who or what sex I prefer to play with!:biggrin_25525:

Hedon if someone asks if your husband drives tell them you aren't married. If they go farther tell them politely its none of their business. When you choose to do business with presumed gay friendly business over a business that isn't presumed to be gay friendly is the same type of sexually oriented discrimination that you are complaining about.

Does this make any sense to anyone? I am straight so I won't be "discovered" that I am gay. Make up your mind please!

If that's the case...Then it's time for people both Gay and Straight to speak up.....

For all of you anti-Gay pundits that drag the Book of Leviticus verse 18:22..."Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."....

It is not for you to judge......

I'll bet a month's income that everyone here has someone who is Gay or lesbian in their family.....

Your brother, sister, aunt, uncle, cousin....etc......

Get over it....They are human beings and your loved ones........They deserve the same rights and dignity that you expect from people....
