OK, unit has been running good-Windows XP, using Internet Explorer. I know IE stinks. Anyway, when I open a thread on this site, if there is a Youtube video link -- I don't see it. 3 days ago, I could see it. Any ideas ?? Internet options need adjustments made ? Thanks

Firefox is your friend
Flash or some video codec has been removed or disabled.
Or perhaps your service provider is blocking those sites. -
I don't use IE much but I do know MS did a update DEC 8.(which places that about 3 days ago). IE had a update included>> Microsoft Security Bulletin MS09-072 - Critical
You can go into your control panel/ then click add/remove programs(include MS updates) and back that update off. To see if that is your specific problem. You can also make sure your video codec is up to date or the add-ons.
FYI, I never leave the updates ON. Too many problems in the past. I usually wait a couple of weeks before I allow the system to update manually.
Hope that helps ya

You could have also possibly right clicked on one of those from this site and hit the "block images from the truckersreport" button on the menu.

I got another question for the super geeks. On "Most" youtube videos the screen turns a pinkish purple around the silhouette of what evers being played. Im using XP and it started doing this about a week ago. If I download the youtube video it plays fine, but playing it thru the internet majority of the time it will go pink\purple.
