    Just bought the General HP 40. Just wondering if I can run it off the cb power posts on the dash, or do I need to hook it directly to the batteries. Thnxs.

    I always suggest using direct power, but yes it will work. BTW if your using aftermarket power adapter change fuses to 20 amp.
