To put into terms you will know really well ... The weight they are talking about on the OTR test is about half the weight of one bag in the box coke ..
You have to pick it up ... And squat like 3 times
Bend over pick it up like 5 times using your back proper lift techs
Then you got to put it up on a shelf or ledge like 8-10 times in like 90 secs
The ledge is about chest high ....
Then with out any weight you do a few
Step ups on boxes
Squats no weight
Then they check your pulse
Both resting / working
No big deal I promise -
####, that is exactly what I was afraid of...the repetitive lifting.. not gonna happen. It wouldn't be pretty. Freakin' elbows hurt holding my 10 pound dog...
-
It's quick !!!
If they hurt you take a few alieve before the test bout 45mins to 1 hr and you should be fine -
It will take the swelling out !!! So you can get a full range fairly pain free for a short time
Alieve did wonders on my knees still does !!! -
Yeah, I appreciate the input...my pain is from ulnar nerve damage in both elbows...I was taking 8 800mg Motrin to get me through my route (4 first half - 4 second half)...more of like a placebo for me -NSAID's don't work on nerves...stopped the swelling on the inside of my elbows, but not the pain from flexing and lifting...long drawn out story re: CA Workers Comp and the company lawyer and my LawDog...
