1 month at b/nunn, alot of sitting. gave me a rusty 06 columbia. 4 inch thick mattress. take ur own if u try it. if you have 2 pay for parking they will not reimburse. If u shower every day u may have 2 pay for your own, not much fueling going on. they do not mind calling u on your cellphone while u are driving. I'll be posting pictures of the old rusty truck I had very soon :biggrin_25513:

I'd like to see the truck

But it is all about money ... Tge truck is simply a tool .. You didn't do that LP deal to buy it did you ? If so u have a legit gripe

But if not it's a tool to use to make money .. Sitting as u stated don't make money either

Iffin you want a shiny new truck then become an O/O and buy a brand new one. I never assumed I would get a new truck as a company driver. The newest trucks usually go to the longest time drivers for the company.

I had a 04 freightshaker century i picked out of junk row, been in a very bad jacknife the winter before, got tape out measured frame rail all square, didnt see nuthen wroung with it, otherwise nice truck , put in shop replaced a tie rod i noticed was bad so after a year in -out shop between runs and my cleaning, i had a very sharp looking century with pillow top matteress i bought myself , noby wanted it cause it was all dirty and yuky oil all over the side, the injecter blew a line,i'm guessing, but after my last run for the day i bobtail in yard and boss man cwas outside smoking a joint, and said were you get that new truck, with all those alum alco wheels, i paid too polish em myself , and polish the whole truck , i said this one you asign me too outa the junk row, he couldnt belive it was the same truck, thats the way i keep my truck i told him , true i lost alot money my first year there doing the truck , but i felt safe and comfy in a truck i built up mayby your company will let you do that to the one you have, btw you can shower much as you want ,as many times as you want with paid fuel at pilot or just give 6 bucks i think it is and go as many times as you want, same for truck washes, cell phone , tell dispacth too call when you are stopped, or call him and just say im stoped hang up and he will call you back, thats how i had mine setup, :biggrin_25524:Everett.

I would take that as a challenge and clean that rusty beast up. And I've noticed Wal-Mart still running '04s. The first digit on the power unit is the year.

How dose a truck made of aluminum and fiberglass get rusty? Were your steel wheels rusty? If so.... SO WHAT! Did the truck run good? Was it able to go down the road safely and earn you a living? Chances are that 06 would have been traded in soon and you would have gotten something newer. You sound like a premadona that will only drive shiny new trucks. Good luck to ya with that.
