I was waiting for that...
Actually, I blew the motor in the other one. It was supposed to take kerosene and I put diesel in it. -
Don't get caught flying around Salem Mass!!!! They burn witches there........Injun Thanks this. -
I stay on the west side of the Big Crick as much as possible, so no worries about Salem, Mass. Salem, Oregon, on the other hand....
And since I needed a new broom anyway, I went on ahead and upgraded. This one has auto-sweep as well as a little more bat-power. I can carry the dog on this one. It's nice to not be conscripted to cats and ankle-biters. Now I just have to get that dog over his fear of heights..... -
As far as the truck washing, consider this also, DOT is more likely to pull over a filthy truck than a clean one. The reasoning? If you aren't gonna take the time to keep the truck clean, what else might you be skipping on? How thourough could your PTI be? Maybe your logs aren't in order. If your truck is clean, it's an indication you pay attention to details and everything is probably in order. Of course it's not a guarranty, but are you willing to risk it? It's all a psychological game anyway.

Also, with a dirty truck, it's easier to see the absence of hand prints on the hood. Hand prints that would tell the officer the hood gets raised on a fairly regular basis and, therefore, PTIs are being done. No handprints on a dirty hood? Inspect that knothead and see what else is not being checked.
Or, if you're that lazy and don't want to be discovered, wash your truck. You should see the Swift company truck parked about eight slots to my left. Parts of it are almost black from all the dirt and grime. And no handprints on the hood. Go figure. The Challenger and scottied67 Thank this. -
you can push the prostar hood up from the side!
-
Yep. Just like many other hoods. And you still have to touch it to lift it. In order to close it, I have to stand in front of it and push on the top part of the grill.
The Challenger Thanks this. -
