I had a similar issue when I got my 23 860. it had the wires in the back messed up as well. You must have some kind of leak going on with the window washing fluid. Maybe you do have a leak when it sprays out. Hard to say on that without having anyone help you look at it.

Do you have the adaptive steering? Never had a problem with mine and have almost 60K on mine now.

Yeah, its got to go in for a PM at 72,000. I'll have them check it out then.

adaptive steering? Heck, I don't know. LOL
It just started this crying last week. It done it a couple of times, again not something that is constant. I checked the fluid & belt.. of course its the serpentine belt. Its good.

Sorry it is called Dynamic Steering. Volvo Dynamic Steering | Volvo Trucks USA

If it is a you have that issue I would have it looked at when you have PM done. It is a little more complex but it sure is nice to have when it is windy.

    Grumppy Thanks this.

Got that PM done & sure enough, there was a crack in a seam on the washer fluid tank. The tank come with a built in motor.... all in one kinda thing.

    NWAF and Siinman Thank this.
