If you get a fix it ticket and need to get the “certification of correction”, can you go to any weigh station in the same state and have them sign it?

I got pulled in to a inspection bay in cottonwood, ca and they found an air leak while I was applyIng the brakes..I didn’t stop there and call my company to get it fixed, I went to the shop and got the hose replaced instead.

Unless it has changed the company must sign the inspection form and return it with documentation of repair.
If you were placed OOS and went to a shop......practice the following phrase "Welcome to Whattaburger can I take your order?"

Just a funny way of telling him he should have been given the paperwork to resolve this. However last time is was in Cali they kept it until the OOS was fixed then let you have it.
Been a good long while but I doubt Cali has gotten any friendlier in the last decade. Just judging off their spokesperson CnriV9bWcAIfDti.jpg

Somewhere on the internet there must be a forum for burger-flippers. When they rag on each other it's in the form of - "Your so stupid you cant even make a burger, guess you'll have to get a job driving a truck"

It's funny, I live in California and have never heard of somebody receiving a correctable violation notice (fix-it ticked) in a commercial vehicle and being able to continue. I tried to search online and can't find any information on it, kind of like there isn't any such thing in this state. The closest thing I've had was a brake out of adjustment at the Cordelia scale house and I couldn't move until I had it fixed. No fine involved, at least not for me personally.
