You should be ok while using that med. I use it myself as well. Only thing is that you'll need to get a DOT health card every year instead of two.

the DOT schedule drug list, (schedule 1 and 2) which i am trying to locate my self. it used to be listed in the FMCSR manual.

this is only some of what i am trying to get more information on, regarding "other names" for some drugs/medications

i just checked the schedule 1 and 2 and i do not see any of your meds. not even "cross over" drugs. i'd say from this point, you're good to go. but i'm still saying DO NOT MENTION your operation or those meds. they should NOT show up in a drug screen.

And your Doctor was 100% correct.

Speak with your Doctor once again. Make sure he's shooting straight with you about the effects. If he is willing to give you a written "clean" bill of health, to drive. Simply omit that information from your applications.

Drug test are limited in their searches. They will not be looking for other drugs. However, any drug that states clearly in it's "side effects" page that it could impair your driving. Is considered unsafe to take while driving.

Be forewarned, as a previous poster told you. An accident could raise issues about your ability to safely drive a truck. The release will provide you with some legal standing, and allow you to drag the Doctor into the issue. But it will not prevent you from being sued.
