My husband completed 240 hours of training and every thing went OK with Swift Transportation. He is now due to get his truck and go solo. After the hours were completed, they sent him a Qualcomm msg stating to test out at the nearest terminal (not his home terminal). Then they sent him home. He's been home for a week so far, and every time he calls his driver manager, they tell him that he should receive a call shortly, he's on the "list" to get a truck. It's nice to have him home but he's the sole provider and no pay is coming in. Has anyone had any experience with this happening and if so, how did you get it resolved?

It sometimes takes a couple weeks to get a truck. All you can do is hang in there.

I am based out of Fontana (Swift, as well), and they had so few trucks that they flew 4 of us up to Denver to pick up our trucks. I also waited just about 2 weeks.

You must wait for Swift to do its routine layoffs..Jk
