    Troll...

I found this forum EXTREMELY HELPFUL in establishing a game plan for my "venture" into owning my own truck. I PLAN to own a BUSINESS, not just to own a truck that I happen to drive. And I'm not going to accomplish my goals, by walking into a BHPH with no cash, no credit, and expect to achieve even a modicum of success without a maximum of suffering.

Not that it CAN'T be done - just that the odds are against me if I chose to go that route.

The last man that claimed to be "perfect" got nailed to a cross for his efforts. I'm not big on crosses - so I'll remain TEACHABLE.

For someone who claims to be 31 years old and has been trucking for 25 (which means you started at 6), I find the disparities in the information you provide, to be as potentially unqualified as the dubious qualifications of our C-in-C.

The advice on this thread, whether abrupt or well though out - reflect the opinions of the poster. Since you have chosen to only slam the respondents of this thread, and not provide any valuable insights into how the OP can accomplish his goals - you are as GUILTY of not providing assistance, as you accuse others of being...

    Warmest Regards,

    Rick

I told him to try Lone Mountain and that there are plenty of BHPH Lots and I also told him buyer beware. He asked where he could get a truck at with bad credit, he didnt ask for all y'alls business plans and financial advice.

As far as "cutting down" other posters, I havent personally attacked anyone. I just pointed out not all people have the credit to get traditional financing or maybe the means to bank cash to do it "yalls way"

As far as being "jealous" I doubt that! Thank the lord, I have been blessed! Of course according to yalls great words of wisdom, Im suppose to be broke and out of the game by now; since I started with $4,657 in the bank, BEFORE the $3k down payment!!!

Get over yourself man!! Whenever someone on this forum has a different view or opinon then you, you get all defensive and start huffing and puffing and " G** D&**" this and how hard you worked for it. When no one said you didnt work for it.....

I still cant understand how anyone thinks they can earn a living owning a truck. There are plenty of smart people who have been in the trucking business for 30 years that are going broke (myself included). My bankruptcy attorney said the two best customers he has are real estate agents and truck owners.

RUN AWAY before you bury yourself forever!

No-one ever claimed to be perfect. Just some of us always try to discourage guys from borrowing. OP really can't be all that serious anyways - he hasn't even bothered to reply back. If he doesn't like some of the answers he gets maybe he shouldn't ask. This is an open forum - that stuff goes with the territory.

    Nope Im Not:biggrin_25512:

Hey!! So have I!! Except I do own my truck, and yes I had terrible credit when I started.

Thats Great!! But this isnt YOUR thread!! He asked what places, or where he could get a truck from with bad credit!! Not what did YOU plan to do!! I started with basicly no cash, no credit and through the blessings of the lord, have reaped better financial standing compared to 3 years ago,
    He was a great man.

So am I being deceptive about my age or experience?? Its the Internet, neither one of those numbers matter, only the information and/or advice I give matters. BUt since YOU brought up credability lets look at yours:

    1)
So you really have NO experience in trucking other then what youve read??
But you list being a trucker for 3 years!!

    2)
It seems no matter what the job is your the qualified man for it!!
By the way, how old are you??

    3)
IIRC you also have a "friend" that works for wal mart that has given you trucking advice.
Lo and behold if YOUR not qualified, then "You Have A Friend" even though you have never worked in the industry!

    4)
    Arrogant much??

Once again the claim of slamming other posters!! Please show me where I slammed anyone??

Oh but I did! I told him a GREAT company that does nothing but help people with credit issues to get their own truck. What did you provide other then wrong information
Ive already shown that for under $4k he could put a down payment on a truck and be "legal" and lease on with a carrier

I may be guilty of ALOT of things but this isnt one of them! Once again, I gave him a name of a company PLUS told him where to look for others as well as to be careful of "Great Deals". You on the other hand have done nothing but talked down to him as if he is a moron, example:
Since you are so smart, did you ever stop and think he may have already done his "years" of research and the only thing holding him back is bad credit and was just seeking advice or a name of a company (which I provided) which does bad credit financing? We dont know his situation and may not be able to bank cash fast enough due to family reasons, as not all truck drivers are single and no kids. (NOY SAYING YOU)

2008 and 2009 squashed the hopes of MILLIONS of Americans maintaining good credit and/or savings accounts.

    Best Wishes,
    Trey
