Hi, I asked my Insurance agent if she knew much about getting Authority for Intrastate here in Texas and she I would need an agent. Is that true ?

You MUST have a process agent to accept any legal papers on your behalf.. it is NOT optional.

He lives in TX though, so he can put his name and address down in that field. Be his own process agent, as it were.

If you go interstate, you would have to have a process agent in the other states you operate in. If you're a member of OOIDA, they'll do it for free, it takes about 30 seconds.
