So, we do our reset, then wait until about 11PM, get a load to New Orleans and then to Baton Rouge, then back to Memphis. Almost 900 miles. We are back in Memphis now waiting.
But I need to get home Thursday night or Friday to photograph a wedding Saturday. :D

Funny you should ask me that now...

We finally get a load out of Memphis early this morning, get to Dallas and drop the load, remind the guy we need to get back to Phoenix, he says it is going to be awhile... I said what do you consider awhile (as you know everyone has different ideas of everything) He says hours, maybe tomorrow.

So now I have been bugging out for the last few hours about this. We are in Dallas, I need to be in Phoenix to shoot a wedding Saturday morning and need to make sure all my gear is charged and go through everything one more time. We are cutting it close.

We will see what happens, I guess it could be a good thing this truck is governed at 68, otherwise... well you know. You do what you have to do! :biggrin_2551:

It is funny, sometimes the miles are there and other times it is short runs that a solo could run. It seems they do not utilize their resources well, but it is also too early for me to tell as it has been 3-4 weeks.

    Take care, Larz

Well we sat in Dallas for over 24 hours waiting for a load west to get me home. After many phone calls, we finally get one to ElPaso. We are getting close now. That should be good because there are a lot of loads to California out of there and they will let us drop them in Phoenix, So I am hoping to get home some time tomorrow. ;)

Which is cutting it close because the wedding is Saturday morning early...

hope you make it home in time. ads for drivers really drop off here. it getting that time of year where the holidays are coming and hiring slow down.

    Hey Mike,

I made it. We got a load out of Dallas to El Paso, then on the way I called dispatch there and explained the situation and asked if he could help. We were there less then 2 hours before we were on our way to Phoenix.

    I am home now. ;)

    Thanks Larz
