call directv and say you need to get an rv reciever for your truck.as for ant. setup there's 2 ways to go get a small dish and either buy a mounting pole,or do what most do and get some pvc pipe and clamp it to your mirror or something,or get a vu-cube which is supposed to be easy to det up.if you go the dish route,go to radio shack and get yourself a sat. tuner or peaker.it really helps u find signal fast.

I use a Vucube and Direct TV box. You can use one of your boxes from your house but you will not have local TV channels. You will need to call Direct TV and fill out paperwork to add local channels. It is just a statement saying you are using it in your truck. I believe they have a choice of east coast or west coast local channels. It won't be your local channels from home but it gives you ABC,NBC CBS and FOX.
Now that I have Sat. TV, I can't imagine not having it!

I carry my dish in the trk and once you get the hang of it, only takes about 5 mics to set it up. Thanks Jigsaw, didn't know how to go about getting the networks.

Use this dish and you will get your home local networks.
No need to call DirecTV....Just carry the receiver from home and good to go!
