I was forced by a previous employer to fuel at TA/Petros. I was on an Inland Empire to Denver route. So I get the rewards app/card and set up my account. The app never worked, even on 3 differentdevices. The card had no purpose whatsoever, other than to keep my other card company. But I still managed to rack up points and not be ever able to use them. Customer service had zero solutions. I was hopeful that when BP bought in they modernize some locations. There is a brand new location just west of the Virgin River Forge on I-15. I hopebit is a sigh of future improvements.

In theory, they could sell me exorbitantly priced parking if it comes with chain-wide retail/restaurant credit for the full amount paid for the spot, if said credit does not rely on installing any applications on a cellphone or other computer, and if the expected value of the credit is at least on par with the prevailing truck stop / convenience store / fast food price gouging.

Through the first half year of regional OTR, I have been 100% successful at finding *free spots to park in, so I usually just assess a lot full of "reserved" spots as parking not available and move on [or ignore it completely if I predict a full lot ahead of time] (often also cancelling an intended minor purchase).

(*) Technically, its not free parking if taxes, tolls, or tax incentives are paying for it.

Yep, they do have the slowest clunkiest App. T/A Sparks, Nv. I will only use pumps 1-3. All the rest, either the keypad or the card reader are always glitched, so you have to go inside to start the pump.

I was at the ya in Ontario, CA. Used the app to pay from reserve parking ($19.50 8n the app) and guess what you don't have to pay the $30 to park in the lot or buy anything in the store. The app knew I was at the ta not the petro BUT when i was inside 10min later 8 tried to use the app to pay for a few things and it wouldn't let me.... said I had to be within a mile of a ta to use it as I'm standing at the counter...!!

The only thing that’s better about TA than loves as they give you two towels and two washcloths at most of their locations for your shower. Other than that? Most of them seem to be very rundown. It’s not uncommon for me to pull in to get fuel And out of a dozen pumps, maybe two or three are working. Or the whole system is down.

Tom O'reilly...I think that was his name. He used to be the CEO of T/A-Petro. When he left, they have been going downhill ever since.
