How hard is it for those working for ltl companies to get fired? Like can you just not wear a uniform to work and tell the boss to deal with it? How does it compare to something like otr companies where you can beat up a dispatcher and get a free Pepsi?

Where the hell have you been working? Just like any corporate structure there will be official warnings, or even straight up requirements. If you need a uniform you need one.

Im going to assume you are not trolling. And being serious.

I used to work out of several places like that enforcing uniform etc. You have to dress and say yes sir no sir and march when they tell you to on the clock.

How easy it is to LOSE a trucking job? Very easy. Can be as easy as a few words out of your mouth. And yer out.

You are not going to be beating up dispatchers any time soon. Be agg assault and looking at 25 years in the big house prison.

Through out my life I've always been independent when I was a the main embalmer over a funeral home hub I told the boss I wasn't going to wear a uniform or come in at 8 in the morning. They said ok I was too good to get rid of . And otr you just don't have many rules

Line haul and LTL are pretty different. One you're humping freight all day and the other you're likely drop and hook and back at the end.

If you don't like uniforms the ln don't get a job with uniforms. If you have a problem with authority I hope you have the means to start your own business hauling your own product because you're eventually going to have to follow somebody's rules somewhere.

Is most line haul union? If you have a nice good paying gig, why would you tried to get fired? So from making over $100,000 , then get fired for not wearing uniform, to working 1099 for only $40,000? Very confusing
