I was just wondering what you guys think about my prospects for getting rehired. I've been off the road since last fall. I had just under 1.5 years of driving experience with USA truck. No accidents, no criminal history. When I quit, I was already on hometime.

I am looking into going to work for another OTR as a company/solo driver.

Did you abandon the truck or did you turn it in at the terminal? If you abandoned the truck, most companies will look badly on you.

Technically, I abandoned the truck. I had parked the truck at the T/A in Denton, TX, I35, exit 472 I believe it is. We have a drop yard in south Dallas, about 60 miles away. I was asked to bring the truck to the drop yard. Went back to T/A one day after that date, and the truck was already gone.

Man, I hope I'm not totally screwed.
