Hi all,
Is it true that some trucking companies will hire anyone?. Or does it depend on the company?. I hear that some companies are willing to give a potential recruit their 1st class truck driving training if they agree to work for that company for the long term. But I'd just like to hear what you guys have to say from a truckers stand point.

It is pretty easy to get a driving job-you could be in a truck in like 3 weeks if you can go through the driving school at one of the mega carriers, don't have a criminal record, pass the medical exam and don't mind team driving. Companies are desperate for drivers- almost every truck rolling down the road is looking for drivers.

Many drivers get started in trucking that way; a trucking company driving school. There's a bunch of them and many offer excellent training.

Thanks for the info guys, I figured there was a huge demand in this field.
