Getting insurance to cover new and experienced driver

    Hi

    I just got my insurance in febraury, My dad is truck driving for 17 yrs and his insurance wont accept me under his policy. I am having trouble finding a insurance company that would accept me with my dad since i dont have the experience . Does any one know what insurances excepts new drivers ?

    My other question is , can i drive with my dad if he has a insurance policy and i dont ? Is that legal or not ?

    I hope someone helps me out hear

    there are insurance companies that will cover you it'll be a higher rate,if you drive without you being covered it could be really bad if anything happens.

    one insurance company i know about it progressive they will take me with 1 OWI-DUI on my record it costs about 475 a month tho
