Driver from West Virginia here.
About a year ago "give or take" I allowed my medical card/physical to expire due to health issues I was facing at the time which I have now overcome, I believe my Class A CDL was downgraded due to this, but I wish to get it back as soon as possible. Initially when I first got my CDL back in 2019, I had attended a 4 week school program that provided a truck and helped me get both my permit and then license, my license was set to expire November 2023.
Im not sure how to go about getting it back now, do I need to retake all my tests again? Written and driving? Or can it be renewed just by getting my physical up to date?
How do I go about taking the driving test if so as I do not have a truck to provide for the driving test, and do not wish to spend thousands for a 4 week training class again just to reclaim my CDL?
Getting my CDL Class A back!

Post #2 is the answer. Get a new DOT physical, take it to the DMV and ask for reinstatement.
