I currently have my permit and all the knowlege to get my license so what do i do from here if i dont wanna go thru a whole course again when i only need a few hours of driving practice and a little backing. Is there anyone out there that is willing to help me out or give me a little advice to get my license? i am willing to be a second seat driver or pay someone for a little of there time. im just so ready to get on the road and get those wheels turning... btw i have a clean background and driving record

I would highly advise going back through a company to complete your training or enroll in school. Taking this shortcut is going to end up screwing yourself. You are going to pay hell trying to find someone that will hire you. You may want to look up some of the threads on this forum that talk about this. None of them have ended good.
Hanadarko Thanks this. -

At least you don't throw thousands of dollars away taking a shortcut . -
Talking with recruiters ....
Good companies don't have to have recruiters on the payroll or run ads in trucking magazines -
I went to the beach half way through my school then went back and finished later at no extra charge. If you got a student loan, they should let you do that since your situation was unavoidable. Never mind, I just re read your post. I see where they wouldn't let you back in. That explains in detail how much cre gives a rats ### about their drivers. Cre is that that England company? If so you ain't missing nothing

Call around there are schools that offer custom courses that are all truck time

"I've seen far less complaints from people that took the shortcut than from people that took company training . CDL mill graduates also pay hell trying to get hired .
At least you don't throw thousands of dollars away taking a shortcut ".
Maybe you should read more! You know what would be really funny is if you could back up your statement of CDL mill grads having a hard time getting hired! Where the hell did you get that info from? -

Out of every 100 drivers that start EACH YEAR in this industry, at the 1 year point...
98 of them are GONE!
..to the OP, CDL rules are changing....class/classroom time will become mandatory....
