Ok guys, I graduated school and received my CDL a little over a month ago...
I'm just a little worried about being too rusty on a road test and getting denied.
Has anyone ever failed a road test?

After seeing some of the drivers I've met I've come to the conclusion that the DMV testers rubberstamp everybody for a CDL.

Forgot to mention that I was referring to a road test given by a company and not dmv..

Failing a road test is rare signing on for your first job. They know youre learning and are going with a trainer anyway
Bob Dobalina and CasanovaCruiser Thank this. -
Don't worry about grinding gears. They are more or less looking for safety. Do a good pretrip and check your mirrors a lot and don't drive like an idiot and they will be hiring you

Companies KNOW you just got your CDL and how little it really takes to get it. They are not looking for experienced drivers and don't expect to get them. Do things as you did on your CDL road test and you'll be fine.
