Getting out of jury duty

How are they going to prove you even got a summons?

 

Tell them what you just typed, that you can tell just by looking at the person. I'm pretty sure they won't want you.

 

This is bad karma, talking about this. Sure as heck, we'll all get called. People been bitxxin' about jury duty for ever. Generally, they prey on the elderly or retired, was told, obtained through drivers license. I was called about 10 years ago in Milwaukee, twice, 1st time went to trial, and I found it incredibly interesting. We fried this punk who was clearly guilty, that felt kind of good, 2nd time was dismissed. I got called again last year for my little Colorado town, said I had other things going on,( allowed 1) and never heard back. If I get called again, I'm going to lay it on the line, I think our current system stinks, and easily manipulated, and want no part of it. I may get arrested or dismissed.

 

orrrrr wait until it’s over.call and say you were out on the road,and didn’t get your mail until now.

 

There should be some contact information on that summons.. Tell them exactly that you are a business owner and have Nobody to run your business and you will have to close your doors to do this jury duty.. This falls under financial hardship and it is the truth.. They will leave you alone and most likely take you off the list in the future

 

I think the whole jury thing is the dumbest idea on the planet. You seriously want to be judged by your peers? The actual public?!

Let me remind you the “public” who voted to defund the police, think 45 genders isn’t enough, is the reason we have warning labels on everything, will determine the fate of the individual.

I once had someone tell me semi trucks should be at 45mph limit because at 65mph a semi truck is faster than a car at 65mph because it has bigger tires. Also when I tell this story to people they look at me like they agree and then I have to go into 5 minutes of how a bicycle works when they were a kid to try and get them to see the light.
