WOW! The answer to THAT one is pretty wide open... MOST of the time, I try to deal with brokers that have an established track record of paying in 30 days or less... regrettably, there are far too many that average 45-60 days... plenty out there that go to 90 days or more... that's a LONG time to wait...
Try to get the broker to state in the carrier setup pkg AND Rate Confirmation, that they will pay in 30 days from POD (Proof Of Delivery), then you can loose the hounds on 'em in they are late... -
I kinda figured that it varied a bit but I thought I'd ask anyway. Thankyou

Horse Whisperer is right on the money. There are very few who pay less than 30 days. The majority pay 40 to 50 days.

Wow, I guess I am way too nice. I hand the driver a check.
VisionLogistics Thanks this. -
Wow 40-50 days that's crazy. Thanks for the replies
-
Had a guy transfer the money to my acct. within 2 days of pick up.
-
That's the wsy it should be. I can see maybe 7-10 days but any longer its kinda bogus. That's just the way it is I guess with some brokers.
-
iv got some stuff that's sitting at around 60 days out right now.
-
A few brokers i deal with were 7-15 days. Most are 30 or so (and that's not counting the ones that you have to mail the original BOL and then get mailed a check, those wind up being 35-40 days).
