Whatever you decide to take with you, make sure you can carry it all. You never know when you will have to. For my first home time after I got my truck, I had to take all my stuff off the truck because I needed to go home for a week. I ended up getting the same truck back but there would have been no guarantee anything left on it would have still been there anyway.

My truck broke down last week and I had to take all my stuff with me on a shuttle to a hotel. I had to take it all back and forth a few times because they kept finding more problems with the truck. I was told I could possibly be sent by Greyhound to another terminal to get a truck. They finally fixed the engine and I got my truck back but it was a pain in the neck.
